Networking Dinner with entrepreneurs
of the Extremaduran Association of the Family Enterprise
The Extremaduran Office in Brussels with the collaboration
of the Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg
organized on 23rd of March a networking dinner in Brussels as an
opportunity for a group of entrepreneurs to meet the Extremaduran
Association of the Family Enterprise.
Among more than 100 assistants, the public institutions of Spain,
local companies and members of the Chamber of Commerce were represented.
The event
was held by Enrique Barrasa, Delegate of Extremadura in Europa,
and Juan Rodríguez-Villa Matons, President of the Chamber of
Commerce.
19th and
20th of March 2015 – Paris
First Forum of Employment Franco-Spanish
The Chamber participated in the first Franco-Spanish
Forum of Employment, organized in Paris by the Official Spanish
Chamber of Commerce in France and co-financed, in the context of Programa
de Jóvenes, by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
Just like the Chamber in BeLux, the Chamber in France
develops an employment program with the goal of making the access to the
French labour market easier for Spaniards under 35. Both entities
cooperate closely in order to exchange experiences and improve the free
services of the other Chambers to enterprises and young Spaniards in the
field of employment.

“Breakfast meetings of partners”
The first
Breakfast meeting of partners took place last Thursday 19th of March in
Brussels. The following members were represented: Air Europa, ArcelorMittal, Finnovaregio,
K&L Gates, Swan Consulting SCS and Zabala Innovation Consulting.
The
companies had the opportunity to present their business activities and to
meet the other members.
The
breakfast meetings of partners are organized to promote networking and
improve the business relations between the members of the Chamber.
March
2015 – Belgium and Luxembourg
Extension
of the agreement with Iberia
The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg
continues its partnership with Iberia, thanks to which the members
of the Chamber can benefit from competitive prices when they are
going to book their flights with the airline company.
This offer will be available until December 2015.
16th and 17th of March 2015 – Belgium
Misión Comercial de
Laboratorios Duaner
Representatives of the company Laboratorios Duaner
moved to Belgium on 16th and 17th of March to meet with some
potential distributors of the country. The Chamber, responsible for organizing
the Trade Agenda, followed the company with success during its
travel to Belgium.
12th of March 2015 – Brussels
Meeting in Brussels
with Rafael Rodriguez Ponga, General Secretary of Instituto Cervantes
The
President of the Chamber, Juan Rodríguez-Villa Matons, met in
Brussels with the Secretary-General of the Instituto Cervantes, Rafael
Rodríguez Ponga. The focus of the meeting was studying the future
lines of cooperation between the two entities and also enhancing the
organization of joint activities in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The
Secretary-General and the President were accompanied to the meeting by Felipe
Santos, director of Instituto Cervantes in Brussels, and María
Catalán, Secretary-General of the Chamber.

Extension of deadline for the job applications of the
Young Entrepreneur Award
II Edition - Young entrepreneur Award
In collaboration
with:
The Official Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg
has extended the deadline for presenting candidacies to Young
Enterpreneur Award until next 17th of April
This award aims to reward the spirit of initiative of the
young Spaniards who live in Belgium and Luxembourg and contribute to the
employability of young people abroad.
